Who can apply?
Current fashion students and fashion graduates who graduated less than 12 months ago are eligible. A school email is required for your application.
Do I need a finished collection?
No. You’ll have time to develop your designs before the first cohort’s presales begin in March 2027. Designs can enter presale with a tech pack—a document explaining the garment’s construction, materials, and specifications.
How does the funding work?
ClothME has committed $10,000 to the first cohort, with part of the funding supporting production. This is the total cohort fund, not an amount promised to each participant, and support may cover only part of your costs. Allocation and individual commitments will be clarified before you commit. New funding will be provided for each cohort, with amounts based on demand.
Will I get help finding a manufacturer?
Yes. ClothME can introduce you to manufacturing partners. Production arrangements, costs, and responsibilities will be discussed as your designs develop.
How will we promote the presales?
You’ll be supported to share your designs at school, with friends and family, and on social media. ClothME will promote the cohort through its own channels too.
What if my design doesn’t sell?
That doesn’t mean failure. This programme helps you gain experience commercialising your fashion. Customer responses can help you understand your audience, refine a design, and plan your next step.
